Massey's

Large serving portions, but low in taste..In the end, what good is getting a lot of what you can not eat.

The service and staff were extremely slow, we waited 45 minutes for our meals, at that time 4 were served and two waited another 10 minutes. The food was greasy, overcooked, and the presentation wasn't very appealing. We had to hail our server to acquire more napkins and drinks, it was very disappointing and one of the ladies was a first time customer. I can guarantee we won't be coming back and I won't be encouraging anyone else to try Massey's. The highlight of the dinner was the Cheesecake, although over priced for the portion size it was edible. Good Luck in the future and if you ever need someone to show you how to make a good tartar sauce, or Nacho's give me a call.

The service and staff were very friendly. Very disappointed to see the change in menu to so very similar to everywhere else. NO vegetarian options (not even a veggie burger ugh!) THey used to have an excellent veg wrap with lentil soup combo which is unfortunately gone. So limited choice for me, plus the two people I was dining with both had vegetarian family members (3). PLUS vegetarians arent the only ones who would like non meat options

First time Massey meal was wonderful.
I am returning at end of June for another gathering with family and friends. The service was great, the food was good and the atmospher was incredible. Wonderful place to go for a nice evening out - not tooo casual, not to formal. Just right!

I have always enjoyed Massey's. The last burger and Caesar salad I had there were wonderful.

Absolutely no respect for employees and the food is drenched in grease. Definitely don't recommend to anyone.

The worst meal I've ever eaten. Even the food at the 3-star Cuban hotels is better. Chicken alfredo's sauce was grey and bland yet overwhelmed by the roasted garlic. Even huge amounts of added parmesan cheese didn't help. The port schnitzel tasted like it had been fried and cooked, then frozen and then warmed up. The manager denied that the meat was frozen so if it wasn't then there was some other reason for the wierd taste. The pork in the shanghai noodles (nightly special) was tough and could hardly be chewed. However, the waitress was wonderful and friendly. I noticed someone at the next table complaining to their partner about how dry the ribs were. Would never eat there again. Very diappointing as I had eaten a steak there before that was acceptable.

My burger was the best in town, bar none, no hockey pucks here!

They served me, my wife and her father the absolute worst burgers we have ever had - no exaggeration! We initially asked if we could get them at least medium rare but the server said it was their policy to cook the burgers until there was no pink showing. Well, not only was there no pink showing, there was mostly black showing. We joked to ourselves (but seriously) that they tasted like hockey pucks....which they did. We should have immediately sent them back but, instead, complained to the server who,we thought, might reduce the bill or something to rectify the situation. No such luck. All we got was a sorry and full Bill. Too bad. We have had burgers here before, a few years ago, and I'm sure other items on the menu are fine.....but we will probably NEVER go back there again.
